19th April 2024 – Two new pieces of equipment have been installed

Two pieces of equipment have hopefully been installed by the end of day, but they will not be able to be used until after the weekend as Contractors will be back on
Monday to check that the concrete has dried.

First Stage – Update

First Day of Works for the Middleton Stoney Playground

On Tuesday, April 16th, the playground work began. Unfortunately, the main play equipment arrived in the wrong colour. This equipment is from Poland and has been sent back. The correct equipment will be shipped back to England. The contractors have started working on the equipment that arrived correctly. They hope to install two new pieces of equipment by the end of this week or next. The second stage, the main play frame in the middle, will be completed in the next 6 weeks once it arrives from Poland.

First Stage of Working Project:

I would like to inform you that on Tuesday, 16th April at 8.00 am, the Eibe workforce initiated the development project in the Middleton Stoney Parish Council Playground. We understand that this may cause inconvenience to the residents who are opposite the site area and nearby. Therefore, the Parish Council would like to apologise for any disruption caused by this project. We have communicated with Eibe, and they have assured us that they will prioritise the residents’ concerns while carrying out the work.
